Great video but I still have no clear idea what Digital Ethnography is all about.
As for technology saving the planet... uh... we've had advancing technology for thousands of years now and the net result is an increased capacity for human life on Earth at the expense of all other plant and animal species. So, how can anything we can create in the future going to change that pattern?
